Production Steps

Cultivation

In order to ensure product consistency, cuttings are taken from a mother / stock plant, which then grow into new plants with identical properties. This process is called cloning. The plant is then grown, flowered and finally harvested under continuously monitored, constant conditions. Tilray produces a wide range of cultivars to meet patient needs including indicas, sativas, hybrids, and CBD-rich varieties.
Processing

After the harvest, the flowers are removed from the stalk, trimmed (removal of stems and leaves) and dried to product specifications.
Analyasis

During the course of a thorough analysis, it is checked whether the cannabis extracts meet the high-quality requirements. Furthermore, the exact THC and CBD amounts are determined. The results are recorded in an analysis certificate and are compared with concrete specifications for extracts.
Packaging

The cannabis flowers and extracts are packaged and shipped under very strict safety precautions. Tilray delivers its products to 18 countries on five continents from Germany, Portugal and Canada.
